These terms govern your use of Qima, a mobile application published by DevLab Technologies ("we", "us"). By installing or using Qima, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Qima displays market information only. It is not investment advice, and it is not a broker, exchange, custodian or financial institution. Nothing in the app is a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
What Qima is
Qima is an informational tool. It shows publicly available market prices for precious metals, cryptocurrencies, stocks, indices and currencies, and lets you record holdings you enter yourself in order to see their indicative value.
What Qima is not
- It does not execute trades, transfers or transactions of any kind.
- It does not hold, custody or move money or assets.
- It does not provide investment, tax, legal or financial advice.
- It does not connect to your bank, broker, exchange or wallet.
- It is not a regulated financial service.
No investment advice
Prices, charts, changes and portfolio totals shown in Qima are for general information only. They are not a recommendation, offer or solicitation to buy or sell any asset. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions. Markets carry risk, including the risk of total loss. Consider seeking advice from a licensed professional before acting.
Accuracy of market data
Prices come from third-party public data sources. We do not originate this data and cannot guarantee that it is accurate, complete, current or uninterrupted. Prices may be delayed, may differ from the price available to you from any dealer, exchange or broker, and may occasionally be wrong. Do not rely on Qima as your sole source of pricing for a transaction. Portfolio values are indicative estimates derived from figures you entered, not statements of account.
Your data and your device
Holdings and preferences you enter are stored only on your device. We have no copy and cannot recover them if your device is lost, reset, or the app is uninstalled. Keeping your own records is your responsibility. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app or the services it relies on — including by attempting to scrape or overload upstream data providers, reverse engineering the app except where that right cannot lawfully be restricted, or using Qima in breach of applicable law.
Intellectual property
Qima, its name, its design and its original code are owned by DevLab Technologies. Market data remains the property of its respective providers. Installing the app grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use it — no ownership transfers to you.
Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue Qima or any of its features at any time, and may modify these terms. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version.
Disclaimer of warranties
Qima is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the app will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DevLab Technologies will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or trading or investment losses, arising from your use of or inability to use Qima — including any loss caused by reliance on prices or portfolio values shown in the app. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
App store terms
If you obtained Qima from the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store's own terms also apply to your download and use. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and have no responsibility for the app. Apple Inc. and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of Qima will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt.
